Baby red pandas are born gray and fluffy, lacking the fiery red coat of adults. They spend their early days hidden in tree hollows, snuggled beside their mothers. As they grow, their fur darkens and those bushy striped tails begin to form. Playful and curious, they begin climbing and exploring before they’re even fully weaned.
