6. Baby Meerkat
Meerkat pups are born blind and helpless, huddled in underground burrows. Within a few weeks, they emerge into the sun, clumsily mimicking the iconic upright stance of their elders. The entire meerkat community helps raise them, teaching them how to forage, dig, and watch for predators. Few baby animals rely so much on group care.
