8. Baby Koala
Baby koalas, known as joeys, are born tiny, pink, and hairless. They crawl into their mother’s pouch immediately after birth and stay hidden there for months. Once they grow fur and open their eyes, they peek out, eventually climbing onto their mother’s back. These tree-loving marsupials begin life in one of the most protected ways in the animal kingdom.
