15. Jack Gleeson – Student And Theatre Director

King Joffrey was the character everyone loved to hate on HBO’s hit show Game of Thrones. His evil antics as the new “Mad King” of Westeros drove viewers mad, but the drama it created was loved. Sadly (or thankfully), King Joffrey was murdered in 2014. Since playing Joffrey, Jack Gleeson has kept a low profile and said he plans on retiring from acting. He went on to study theology and philosophy at Trinity College in Dublin. He currently runs his own touring theatre company in the UK.
