7. Farallon Islands, United States
Off the coast of San Francisco, the Farallon Islands were used to dump radioactive waste between 1946 and 1970. The waters are also home to large populations of elephant seals, attracting great white sharks. The combination of past contamination and aggressive wildlife makes this island extremely hazardous.
