1. They Never Stop Growing

The average male gator is about 9 to 11 feet long, with the females being slightly smaller. Alligators technically have no limit to how big they can get given that they have sufficient nutrition and stay healthy. The largest gator ever caught was about 15 feet 9 inches and weighed over 1,000 pounds!
