3. Incredible Bite Force
Crocodiles and alligators are the undisputed champions of bite force in the animal kingdom. Their jaw muscles are incredibly strong, allowing them to generate immense crushing power. Studies have shown that some crocodile species can exert a bite force exceeding 3,700 pounds per square inch, significantly stronger than the bite of a lion (around 1,000 pounds per square inch). This tremendous force allows them to crush bones, pierce through tough hides, and subdue even large prey.
